21/2/16 – Hinderclay lakes
I stepped outside of Suffolk for a change today and tried a new venue I’ve heard a bit about recently. The weather was pretty horrendous and with no choice of swim (being the last to arrive of many), I ended up feeling less likely to catch than i think I’ve ever felt. It was blowing a howling gale and as I tried to cast to the far reed line (as I was recommended to do), the bow of my line ended up halfway down the lake.
With not a single bite throughout the session, I professionally notched up yet another blank. Not a happy bunny.
